Elm Academy is a primary school situated in Bournemouth; it provides education to mainstream nursery/primary pupils aged from 3-11 years from the West Howe and the local surrounding areas.

It is our aim that pupils leave Elm Academy as literate, numerate, confident young people with high aspirations, independent learning skills and a sense of moral responsibility and an appetite for future learning.

At Elm Academy, the curriculum will be taught with the consideration of the needs of all learners.  Our curriculum will be exciting and will inspire children to nurture a passion for learning.  The curriculum provides the perfect mix of knowledge, creativity and skills development to promote excellence and enjoyment of learning.  We believe that exciting, engaging lessons, adapted individually to each child's needs are the best way to ensure every child succeeds.  These values are shared with the children through the word EPIC, enjoyment, potential, inclusive and communities.  Reading, Writing and Maths are taught daily in our school, ensuring that all children develop the core key skills they will need.

At Elm Academy, every child is important and deserves success.  We will support to provide a safe learning environment and will nurture your children helping them to build high esteem and encouraging them to achieve their full potential.  We aim to build close relationships with each child and adults in our school community and recognise that each child is a unique and precious individual.
